FRIED PLANTAINS TOPPED WITH TONNINO’S TOMATO AND BASIL TUNA

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Fried Green Plantains
  • 1 Avocado cut into cubes
  • 1 cup of tomato cut into cubes
  • ½ red onion julienned
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 Jar of Tonnino Tuna Tomato and Basil in Olive Oil
  • Grated carrot for garnish
  • Chives to decorate
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper

PREPARATION:

  • Cut the plantains into 2 finger thick pieces, fry them in hot oil for 2 minutes
  • Remove them from the oil and flatten them with a rolling pin
  • Fry again until golden brown
  • Place the fried plantains on a plate, top with the diced avocado, tomato, carrot, and onion
  • Place the Tonnino Tuna Tomato and Basil on top.
  • Decorate with the chives and pour the lemon juice over the final dish
  • Serve to taste and enjoy!
